Aquatic beetle Macroplea pubipennis found in two new locations in Västerbotten!

County administrative board of Västerbotten has been out in the field and found two new locations for the aquatic beetle M. pubipennis.

In a bay in Ostnäs close to Umeå as well as in a lagoon in Järnäs close to Nordmaling. The species identification is confirmed by an expert specialized in aquatic insects.
